When someone is looking for a job they may check the want ads, go to employment agencies, seek headhunters, or go on line to job listing sites. They see what is available and apply for what looks interesting to them. What if you went about it in a slightly different way? What if you first designed your perfect job? Then you went looking for it. There is a lot written about goal setting. This idea is definitely a form of goal setting. I want you to make your goal finding the perfect job. In order to do that you have to decide what the perfect job looks like. The follow is a list of things to consider when designing your perfect job. 1. What is the job? 2. Title and Responsibilities. 3. Location 4. What companies would you like the job to be at? 5. Salary and benefits 6. How do you dress for it? 7. What does a day look like? I think you can see where I am going with this. Then write or type up the list and keep it with you at all times. Read it several times a day. When you wake up and before you go to sleep. There is a lot of magic in doing this. Before you know it opportunities will come your way.
