I know that it sometimes feels like your boss is out to get you. It could be paranoia or you could be right and your employer just doesn’t like you. I am a big believer in taking responsibility for every thing that happens in ones life. So that being said the first step is to figure out what you might have done to cause the problem. Don’t get your back up. I can hear you say your boss is crazy and everyone hates her. But, even if that is true you don’t have to allow it to effect your life. A young person starting out came to me a few years ago. She had a problem boss as well and wasn’t sure what to do. She was ready to look for another job even though she was there for several months only. I suggested that while she was looking for different employment she try a different tactic. The plan was for her was to do the best job possible and for her to look for ways to make her boss’ life easier. Instead of getting annoyed all the time and not wanting to give her all, she should always look for ways to improve her work and the work of her boss. In less than a year she was promoted , received a raise, and had a new boss. Of course she was delighted with the result. It is amazing what you can accomplish with the right attitude. I have some customers who are difficult and sometimes surly. I try to extend myself even more to see how I can turn it around.

That's an awesome story. Its amazing how much of an effect changing your attitude and outlook can have on your work, or anything else in your life!
