I love my job. I like everything about it. From the day to day work to the achievement of long term goals. One of the things I like most is making a major impact on my companies bottom line and future success. I look beyond my own personal work and try to see how I can contribute to the entire company. It is called being a rainmaker. One of the things I do is bring in new businesses. I have been successful doing this. And the firm is in a much better position because of it.
What can you do to that has a greater impact on the place where you work. Don't think that because your job is lower on the totem pole that you cannot make a difference. It might be as simple as finding a messenger service that saves the company money, or developing a new filing system. Thinking outside your own personal position gets you noticed. Keep doing it and the promotions will come. Before you know it you will be a Star!!
