The next step of my job is managing my business with all my accounts. That means making sure they are shipped on time, developing marketing plans with each, and working to insure the product is successful on their selling floor. My goal is to speak to each of my buyers at least one a week if not more often. I also speak with their management regularly. I work closely with my licensing partners to keep them in the loop and hopefully being able to utilize them in the selling of the product. This could mean doing Personal Appearances with the master license so that they can meet their customers.
I also have other jobs I do. For example an important part of any division heads job is to develop her staffs careers. Teaching them and helping them to grow in their positions is very valuable. You always want your people to be the best they can be so that in turn your company can be the best it can be.
Finally a word of advise. Always do your best, work your best, and be your best in everything you do. This is the surest way to get promoted. Who knows you may find yourself as President of a Fashion Collection.
